Rolling on the floor laughing Cherie!! Is he wanting it for Halloween? Glad your outer is being good to you now!!! Hurray!

Stormy, what flower would you be talking about? I didn't know what Gloriosa was so I looked it up and I'm sure I don't have any. Hilarious!

School started today so my schedule is back to normal.

Nothing much going on here of an excitement till this weekend. Jeannie and her DH are coming over camping out back then. I'm looking forward to that!

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Well, in any event hardly any of mine reseeded this year and those that did are puny. Last year they were spectacular. Sad

Same thing with mine Stormy...AND, aside from the Shastas, it's looking so for my other Asteraceae too, so I just figured it was weather related...soaking wet then dry and hot in cycles all summer...lots suffered...even Helianthus strumosus and that is usually profuse.

I know this is is the worst garden I ever had concerning the flowers and I blame it on the weather too. Jamie, you gave the true reason for that disaster.
Temp today was 98', Now the next thing will be the hurricane that will show up around here.

Jae My Hellenium came and went so fast this year i almost missed them. Sad The lilies were a total disaster dropping buds left and right. , However I will say that my Asters are getting hugh even though i cut them in half in June. If the hydrangea survived this summer, they were spectacular and still are. Big Grin

However the Echies came and went in a flash Grumbling The Daylilies were beautiful, but smaller with fewer blooms and the foliage burned up really fast. The Iris were diminished also.

Yep...small and fast on a lot of things. Lillies would have been good (except that while the asiatics came on time, the orientals were way early) but the hard rain just dropped them over. I staked some of the real tall ones but I have too many to stake them all (plus, too much 'hardware' spoils the whole point of perennials! Hilarious! )

Good Morning to all also, another hot day coming up and eventually a hurricane

Here it will show you where Earl is about now, heading right for Mass and RI but we are hoping it will stay out in the Atlantic, look for the #180 on the right straight to the left is Cape Cod, that is the arm that is sticking out into the Atlantic, I do not live far from there

Sure hope it stays out in the ocean Maria! Do you have an evacuation or safety plan in case it doesn't behave?

I do not live that close to the ocean to be evacuated, its about a half hour drive before I'd get there but we do have one small inlet through the edge of town but I am not close to it.
The main problem will be the trees should it hit since I am surrounded with them and could very well damage the house.

I think I am being shunned on the other place, posted the same problem I may have but no one gives a hoot. The same thing happened a few days ago when I told them something I thought was rather interesting decided to delete it. Wish I had not signed in again for that reason.

Talked with Ernie this Morning, he feels much better but is off to the Dr. again, has to do it every day.
