[b]Morning Maria and all. You know the comments here seemed to have made quite a conversation started over at the other place.  Cool here today 49 out there but the sun is shining and wind is so much calmer. Have no idea what is up today or tomorrow. DH hasn't decided if he wants to go to St Martins Fair today or tomorrow. He was thinking of throwing House on the Rock in the midst as well. He's off this entire week for vacation and once again we have no where to go.  for it.Well need a bit more coffee.............. ~~~~ing to all the faster I go, the behinder I get |

| All I know is that everyone has a right to their opinion and I know I do not wear rose colored glasses and think everyone is just sweet and wonderful, unfortunately most people are not, my experiences through meeting many nationalities I known in my life have taught me that, hence, no one can pool the wool over my eyes because all I have seen and heard is pure selfishness all over the world with its human occupants. Yes, there are some of us that do not fit into that category but they are far and few in between. At this point I do not need to be lectured by people that could be my grandchildren, what do they know but their own little world, perhaps they should open the door and look around a bit and see what the world has to offer and not only what they see through their keyhole or them selves while counting their money. | Hello everyone, I'm glad Earl decided to behave like a gentleman and go away! Sorry I've been missing for a while but there is a lot going on here at the moment and I have not had all the computer time I would like. It doesn't help that DH's PC died so we now only have one between us! Maria I'm like you - have travelled a lot and met a lot of people, some nice many not so nice, and some just plain mean. I think the problems lie in the pace of life and peoples expectations. The world is a very self centred place! People these days take so much for granted and think they have "a right" to all sorts of things even though that means trampling on others, and they have to have everything now this minute. I would hate to be young now! Keep smiling all. Carol |

| Hi Carol, glad you had a minute to post, I know when various things come up they are a lot more important then getting on the computer, especially when only one is available. Yes Carol you are so right about how some people think only of "me me me" Cece, thank you sweet young lady, thisl old lady loves compliments. | Carol I couldn`t say it any better. I am reasonably well traveled,having lived in at least 5 states and one other country and visited many more. I have met some nice people and a lot of self centered ones. I think we have a decent group here and I do not even lurk there so I am out of the loop and it sounds like that is good. Tomorrow is Spa day! I do hope everyone has a great day. Sheri |

Tomorrow, uh I mean, today DH and I will going to 7-Mile Fair as we did St Martins Fair today with another couple. Note to self: Don't ask that couple to the next one for at least 15 years. Needless to say they didn't enjoy what Ed and I do. Went for something to eat afterwards, that was fun, then back here where the husband of the other couple got totally trashed. He found Ed's liquor stash and kind of helped himself on bathroom trips. After they had left Ed went to make himself a cocktail and the bottle was empty as were 2 others noticeable deplete........ Even the good stuff we save for special occasions was emptyl............ IDK She had to get him into her house........ Oh the closet alcoholics that sneak when no one is looking..............................I think its funny beyond words...... Ed isn't so happy. The one bottle he bought 5 years ago was a New Year's only one drink. Completely empty now...............  So we have to break the bank, so Ed says, for another bottle this year, instead of next year. There wasn't but maybe two years left of one each any way. He can be so funny sometimes.the faster I go, the behinder I get |

| Cece, will 15 years be long enough? That's verrry bad behavior, it sounds like the man has an alcohol problem and needs some help. Did his wife seem to be embarassed? I hope you had enough fun to make up for a rude guest! We have the netting on the grapes, and now all I need to do is anchor the lower edge so they don't get under it. This will be about the 4th year for the net, so the older deer are already used to it, but the youngsters could be a problem. While I'm down there in the garden I need to pick beans. I can't remember if I mentioned that the co-op is buying some of my excess produce. We have things to do in town tomorrow so I will take it then. Back to the garden.
