If you've ever watched 'Hell's Kitchen,' you've noticed that all of the cooks smoke on their breaks. It's highly unlikely that smoking is an occupational attribute of chefs, so does this mean that there are still loads of smokers everywhere, but the other shows edit out the smoking? Is it really likely, for instance, that no one in those huge crowds of bachelors on 'The Bachelorette' smokes? The producers probably set up smoking areas and never film the interaction in those areas. Gordon Ramsay is a smoker himself, so I have to assume that he chose not to edit out the smoking on his shows.
I haven't been to LV. I've been to Atlantic City - when I was there last (maybe 10 years ago) they allowed smoking. I've also been to one in Delaware, where no smoking was permitted. All of the Native American casinos allow smoking. For the non-Native American casinos, I think it is up to the state laws.
