| When traveling to Europe what is the best way to take $. We are taking this cruise from Rome to Athens and plan to take some euros and travelers checks. I imagine we can use our debit card on the ship but not sure what currency to have on us while in ports in Greece, Israel, Egypt and Turkey? Any suggestions. I always call the credit card company in advance and let them know where and when we are going so the card can be utilized. | Credit card companies generally charge an exchange rate. If you have more than one card you might want to call around before you go to see which one offers the best rate. Sometimes Credit Union credit cards don't charge to exchange or are cheaper. |

| Thanks for the info, I called and think that I am in good shape with the card companies and they won't charge my arm and leg? Put your hands to work in these cubits: Arrangements 101 and/or Hands at Work Share your travels with us at: Travel Junction - Contest |
