| Boy. Today I had my monthly midwife appointment. My blood pressure was back down to normal *grin*. Oddly, I was measuring 4 weeks ahead of schedule. I'm a pretty small gal, and I've never measured ahead before. Also oddly, the heartbeat could be heard all over the place. Thinking it was possible that we could have more than one in the oven, we all agreed to get a sonogram done to see what was going on. We figured since we were having the sonogram anyway, we'd go ahead and find out the gender. No twins, only one. He looks perfectly healthy in every way. He is measuring 1 week ahead. Evidently I just decided to do a marathon growth. Must be all the ice cream and watermelons!! So, now we know! The boys, of course, are thrilled, and the girls are getting used to it. | Congratulations and I'm glad he's healthy! (And I think one at a time is a whole lot easier!!!) |

| Oh boy!!! Glad the health issues are under control and it was just nature taking it's course. Would have been cool to have twins, one boy, one girl, you know, just to keep things even. I have heard that picking squash bugs can make your blood pressure go up. LOL Talk with people around the world. Visit Carpe diem and seize the day! Also, Jigsaw Puzzles, Excel forum and tutorials. |

| We would, of course, be thrilled with twins- boy, would THAT shake things up in this house??? However, one at a time is just fine! Becky- things are slightly fuzzy with the due date, especially now. I should be 26 weeks, I'm measuring 30 weeks, and he's measuring 27 weeks. I've never been one to rely on the due date...the babies come when they are good and ready (within reason, of course). The first two were 2 weeks "early", but were perfectly on time. The next was 1 week early, and #4 was right on his due date. Officially, we're not changing my date from October 13th, but we're all very prepared to see him as early as the last week in Sept without worry. Connie- thankfully, my blood pressure was never high enough to be a health concern. It was just double for me, but still within normal range. That was last month, right after the whole IB thing started...it's really no wonder it was up! Personally, I think squash bug patrol was good therapy! | Trish, I'm so happy for both you and dave, and for the brothers and sisters! I know in my heart that you will all be fine. Homemakers' Haven Come Join the "A" Team! |

| I'm excited for you and Dave, and the kids too! It was a long time ago, but I can't forget the feeling of being pregnant. I loved every minute of it, good and bad (though there was not much bad). Congratulations! |

| OH! A baby! I will visualize holding him! I held new DGS for awhile this afternoon. Market customers can be surprisingly patient when you "have" to stop and hold the baby! |

| You said midwife. Are you delivering at home? That would be so cool. |
|
|||
| Yay! |
|
|||
| Yes, we delivered our last 2 at home as well, and we plan the same for this one. I love home births, and would never choose another hospital birth. I'm glad hospitals are there when we need them, though! My little spot NOW SHIPPING: soy candles, mango body butter, and peppermint foot cream |

| I'm so glad you are both doing so well! |

| Congratulations! Glad everything is going good Sandy |

| Oh, at times it isn't all that pleasant, if you focus on the aches and pains.... However, there isn't anything more special (IMHO) than feeling a brand new life form right inside your own body. Every flutter and, yes even big fat kick in some vital organ, tells the beginning tale of a tiny person. It's like holding your own secret. | Me too, but that secret won't be just trish's for much longer. LOL Hey Trish, are the other kids excited about this or is it like, oh no, another one??? LOL Talk with people around the world. Visit Carpe diem and seize the day! Also, Jigsaw Puzzles, Excel forum and tutorials. |
