| Musa acuminata is native from India to Southeast Asia and Indonesia. It is a parent of all edible Bananas (which are hybrids). The synonyms of this colorful Banana are Musa sumatrana & Musa zebrina, which are commonly used by the horticulture industry. The plant produces fruit with almost no food, and if fertilized, lots of seeds.
