Minimum Purchase for Co-op Pricing: 3 plants of mixed cultivars

Cost of Plants: $14.75 for 3

Size of Plant: These plants are grown from cuttings and are approximately 6 to 9 months old...they will be pulled from the quart containers and shipped with soil removed.

Shipping
As much soil as possible is removed and top-growth retained whenever possible for efficient shipping. Roots are wrapped in dampened materials and encased in plastic. The plants are individually wrapped and labeled with common and botanical names. Plants are shipped directly from the grower using USPS Priority service and Delivery Confirmation. The Delivery Confirmation number will be shared with the buyer to assist in tracking the plant's arrival.

We have worked very hard to provide a larger number of multiple cultivars with some exciting variety options for you to chose from...but many of the varieties are new and in limited quantities... so first come, first served! I will mark Gone when they are no longer available.

Special Consideration: These plants have been raised by natural and organic methods so they are safe for culinary adventures. Scented Geraniums are actually Pelargoniums...our British cousins call the plant group 'Pellies' for short. Those 'Pellies' with scented leaves or flowers or both are more commonly called 'Smelly Pellies' at UK garden clubs. There are literally hundreds of scented-leaf varieties and most are derived botanically from Pelargonium graveolens. The species gained its widest recognition during Victorian times when the plants were used extensively to 'scent the light breezes' throughout the house. Many of these plants are important elements in the perfume and cosmetic industry providing scents of citrus, mints, roses, fruits and other recognizable scents. The leaves and flowers are edible and often used in desserts and teas. Discriminating gardeners have learned that scented geraniums are easy-care container plants and often drought-tolerant landscape additions.
Scented Geraniums are easy to care for and have few demands. The plants should receive a minimum of 6 hours of sun daily and should be allowed to dry out between watering. Water thoroughly when you water but withhold watering during the winter months. Feed during the growing period twice a month for abundant bloom. Use a light soil-based medium and try to avoid those mixtures with water-retentive additives. These plants are excellent choices for small hanging baskets, miniature gardens and window-boxes. Several are larger in size and demand additional space. Most are hardy outside in USDA Zone 9 to 11. Maintain indoor temperature above 50 deg. F.
