Terese,

Hope you are there and that you see this. This is what became of the "General Wildlife Discussion" Forum to which you had posted earlier to let me know that my title at the time had overrun the available space.

Thank you very much for letting me know about that. Essentially, I could not change the URL for the forum, but I realized that I could delete it and create a new one, this one, with the correct, shortened name and URL. Since the site was still new, I figured I could do that without a lot of difficulty. Unfortunately, in so doing I lost your post, the one that originally warned me of the problem. Sorry about that. I just wanted to thank you again and let you know what happened.

I am SO happy to see so many of you here!!! And by 'here' I mean the Wildlife cubit in general including all of its forums. Sorry I didn't have time to talk last night, but tonight I promise you guys will be at the top of my list, and I'll be back to address all comments and concerns. Hope to see you then!

Hi Cheryl
I woke up to a "Blue screen computer' this morning after my computer did auto updates. Just got my computer repaired about an hour ago. So long story short I'll be back tomorrow to visit with you here on what is going to be a favorite cubit.

Hi angele!

I is so nice to have you here with us and great to hear that this 'is going to be a favorite cubit' for you. I'm excited to see what we together can do with it.

Ah, the dreaded "blue screen of death". Sorry to hear about your computer problems. I can live without almost anything except my laptop. Hope to see you back tomorrow.

Terese,

I really am very sorry about that. I was (and am) still learning to use the new system. I was so appreciative that you had pointed out my error (titles too long for available space), but I found, even after reading info from Dave, that I could only fix/change the Forum names but not their URLs. I couldn't bare to leave the forums with mismatched names/urls, and I didn't want to bother Dave about fixing my mess.

Since we hadn't started conversations in earnest, I decided to go ahead and delete the forums in order to recreate them with shorter names that would fit the space and with matching urls. I was hoping you wouldn't be too upset with me for deleting things. Glad you found the replacement forum. I won't be deleting things that way anymore.
