|"Sunny Side Up"
This was the title of a story in today's Parade Magazine. In one part of the story it mentions a study done at Bowling Green State University. They scanned subjects brains and found that the areas that indicate happiness lit up whether subjects were actually laughing or just thinking about it.
This information can be applied with meditation such as the post for Smiling Meditation. Occasional sadness can be overcome with mental awareness and a bit of optimism. However, chronic sadness/depression deserves a visit to a medical professional. Depression can be treated!
