|Using Props for Bridge Pose
A stiff folded blanket or flat pillow (hips should not sink down into it) can be used if you are not able to push up into the full bridge position. It is also nice to use pillows if you want to use this position as a Restorative Pose.
If you want to deepen the pose to get more stretch in the hips, but using your hands is too high, you can use a yoga block to hold the hips up and eventually use the hands to push yourself up further.
Make sure to listen to your body in this pose & when using props. You do not want to strain your back or neck while holding this pose.
