I'm really learning something now. LOL! I always removed the bottom 2 leaves from the nodes so now I'm finding out to just bury the bottom 2 leaves attached to the nodes. Wouldn't they eventually rot?

But with the cuttings from Leo, I just stuck the ends in water and after a week, I see that roots are forming from the nubs.

Keep the wisdom flowing.

It's all about choices.
All you need is to bury the node a bit into the soil...1/4"...if the roots want to come out from there they will. Inserting the cutting at a 45degree angle is good too (maximum surface contact).... Big Grin
Leap. The net will appear.

Aloha Hoya

I have been collecting, studying and selling hoyas for about 10 years. This Cubit is about growing hoyas, and about the hoyas I have to sell. I welcome any and all hoya lovers, whether you want to buy or not. Hooked on Hoyas is another great Hoya sight
