Why do some cuttings appear to root (by tugging to see if success) then a few days later, appear to unroot themselves? I swear I didn't make this up!

It's all about choices.

I think tugging is a big mistake, expecially if using hydroton. It is just as easy to tip the cutting out of the pot to see. A number of times I have left pieces of root IN the pot attached to something that didn't want to move.

I tug on plants when their root systems are mature to see which ones are loose...indicating a problem.... Whistling
Leap. The net will appear.
