I didn't think i would be asking this question for a few years and especially about my DS-70.

While in bloom how should they be watered??

I can't believe it Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Group hug Group hug Lovey dubby
I had moved it along with the H.brevialata more into the sun since it's getting closer to fall, the sun has moved making my yard more shaded.I guess the DS-70 appreciated the sun.I had noticed the leaves were turning reddish,it's a nice touch to the plant!

Not sure of the correct term's but one only has to open up into the star shapes & another is just a step behind. The plant seems to have a lot of penduncles on it.

The H.brevialata looks like it may also be trying to bloom. Thumbs up Group hug
I asked for a flower and he gave me a garden, then grand-kids to work in it with me!!!!

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you. Wonderful!!!!

Just water it normally....when you usually water it. Don't change anything....Sounds like you are going to be a MAMA....

thanks Carol,

I wanted to make sure about things like feeding her.I put super thrive in the water about every other watering and use a 15-30-15 every couple of weeks or longer if i forget *Blush* .

Wasn't sure if i should continue or discontinue any feeding or vitamins,hormones/super thrive.

I also hope Hoya's aren't like christmas cactus when it comes to moving them when they are in bud,CC's will drop their buds. There's a big storm on it's way so i brought the DS-70 inside along with 2 others i found penduncles on. Hurray! H.Compacta & H.brevialata!! Don't want them getting damaged in the storm. We have had so many storms all my jades/succulents,and my H.curtisii are inside.
I am on my daughter's computer and i'm going to try and down load a picture of the DS-70.I hope i can do it. Thumb of 2012-09-18/johoya/7594ac

Hoyas are actually very tough. Unless you radically change the environment they live in a pretty simple one...You seem to be doing everything right....GOOD!

Aloha Hoya

I have been collecting, studying and selling hoyas for about 10 years. This Cubit is about growing hoyas, and about the hoyas I have to sell. I welcome any and all hoya lovers, whether you want to buy or not. Hooked on Hoyas is another great Hoya sight
