My H. carnosa 'krimson princess' has a broken i say "tip" because it was a stem that was sticking straight out. It's leafless but has a number of nodes that are beginning to form. Will this root? If so how do i do it? Thumb of 2012-09-24/johoya/7dd7cc

It's all about choices.
It probably won't root...but give it a try! Different hormones/chemicals are involved with growing and then rooting and then flowering. Like an immature 'human' can't 'make babies'..... (by immature I mean chronologically, not emotionally!!!)
Leap. The net will appear.

Jelinda,
My H. Pink Silver did that, but it did have some aerial roots. I figured what the heck, give it a try and it rooted.

Aloha Hoya

I have been collecting, studying and selling hoyas for about 10 years. This Cubit is about growing hoyas, and about the hoyas I have to sell. I welcome any and all hoya lovers, whether you want to buy or not. Hooked on Hoyas is another great Hoya sight
