Good...surprised it disliked the AC...well, must have needed your company!!!! Funny plants...maybe it was used to warmer temps being born and raised here...?
Strange, my office is freezing and we are running around with sweaters and scarves, Maybe my plant is getting just the right amount of sun which gives it a bit of warmth. I have more new blooms.
I could try again...I have a full sun all day long at my office and the blooms were still dropping off on both: Carnosa and this plant....So, I brought Shepherdell back home....see if it likes the outdoors better.
Would you believe that the 4 H. Shepherdell plants that I bought in April this year are still giving me blooms every day?. It is so amazing!. All I do is stare at the plants at work.

Good...I can see it now...headlines in WSJ "Economy Collapse Blamed on Hoya Fanatic who Watched Blooms Instead of her Computer Screen". Has a nice ring to it!
I stand accused. I am guilty. Promised a few co-workers a cutting when it stops blooming. So I must watch day after day after day for when a piece can be taken. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!.

H. shepherdii (lc 's') is a species hoya. H. Shepherdell is a cultivar...cross between shepherdii X H. carnosa. H. Minibell was/is also from the same cross...I believe.
I have been collecting, studying and selling hoyas for about 10 years. This Cubit is about growing hoyas, and about the hoyas I have to sell. I welcome any and all hoya lovers, whether you want to buy or not. Hooked on Hoyas is another great Hoya sight
