|This is served as an appetizer in bars in Spain... it is a wonderful side dish, great potluck dish....easy.
Sautee a big mess of Swiss Chard ....mostly leaves....or steam them.
In a hot fry pan or wok, heat olive oil. Add garlic and cumin seeds (to taste...you can always add more), then add about a handfull of pine nuts (let them brown)...then add the Swiss Chard. Mix it all together...add Chickpeas = Garbanzo Beans and raisins.
Serve hot with crusty bread. This can be whatever you want it to be: a side dish to?, on rice? or all by itself with the bread.
Play with the garlic and the cumin....the flavors need to balance...and only YOU know what the balance it....
