Nah... then you could use any soda. Coke is very acidic (a tooth left in coke will disappear in a month, no joke), so I'll wager that has something to do w/it. Well, generic coke is cheap, I'll give it a try. Our soil & water is pretty alkaline, so it sure won't hurt anything!

I've seen more & more on using sugar to raise the brix as well. Cheap & easy! Thumbs up
