Not so much in the soil as in our well water. Thumbs down Plugs drip emitters in a year. Yeah, we don't have to worry about mildew much here... they just declared a water emergency in our nearby town, no outside watering, nada, none, zero, zip allowed due to the drought.

We're not under that restriction, being on a well & 15 miles out of town, but we're starting to put buckets under the sink to catch grey water. Ain't nothin' as miserable as a dry well... Crying
