Puff does live in the Northern part of NC in a rather mountainous area. She is either 6b or 7a.

The temperature here on Monday 7/19 is a balmy 63F. DH says they haven't seen the 80's in the daytime since i left.......I may just be like the wicked witch and melt when i hit Los Angeles.....although that will be at 7AM so won't be too bad....just can't imagine New Orleans at 5 o'clock on a July afternoon.....not gonna be pretty that is for sure. I leave Brisbane at 11 AM on Saturday morning...arrive at LAX at 7AM Saturday morning after a 13 hour flight...leave LAX at 11AM and get into New Orleans at 5PM Saturday evening after a 4 hour flight....Ya think my time sense/internal clock is gonna be seriously messed up....LOL

Despite feeling like I have been drug through a knothole backwards....23 hours of airplanes and airports, I am too happy to say I'm HOME!

The weeds won, but stuff is still alive under them....and I have lots of time to get things back together....with the rather embarrassed help of DH and GS.....GRIN

Got home around 7PM Saturday evening....finally went to sleep around 4AM Sunday....all wound up and 15 hour time difference. I think I woke up around 1PM....(potty break ya know) but finally drug up for real around 5PM......spent about an hour soaking up coffee and looking at the weeds.....before it started raining......

All in all, the guys didn't do a bad job......for guys.....grin. Gonna take a couple days to shift gears and a few more to get things back in order, but nothing I did not expect....neither of them are gardeners, nor do they have that eye for what is really clean, not just clean on the surface....and it seems that folding and putting away laundry is a skill they both eschew. Just how hard is it to fold a towel????? Guess I should be proud that they actually washed the stuff...LOL AND, DH had clean sheets on the bed.....how is that for a classy welcome home? Hurray! Thumbs up

Only a few small "fires" to take care of, so all in all, Life is good. May take a few days to get caught up and back up to speed, but wanted to touch base and say hello Gypsies. This is a pic of the babies on our first day of Grandma in charge.....my hands were completely full......grin

They are just so sweet...those babys! I know you have to play catch up...Moon,,as my grand mother used to say weed killin to do...I think you gotta do some of that too Hilarious! Take it a little at a time..it will all fall into place. Save some time to try and catch up on rest as well. I bet your DH and GS were practically turing flips..to see you get off that plane Rolling on the floor laughing Were glad your home too! Hurray!
