Happy New Year

Unfortunately mine has started out crappy. DG work drama. Damn youngsters think they own the place, well granny had enough and Said so tired of the rules only applying to a few and others can do no wrong.....upside it can only get better and if it don't I'm going over the managers head, and they can't say I didn't warn them.

Hope everyone is happy and healthy. Let's all go visit Jordan at

I swear, young people think they are entitled these days. Very few have the work ethic of the previous generations. John Rosemond got it right, it all started with the psycho-babble, don't hurt their feelings-type parenting style. Give 'em hell, JJ. They deserve it.

Good idea about visiting Jordan. Thumbs up

Cutie and I have to plan a shower for DD. She's good at decorating (go big or go home), I better be the logistics person.

I can't take this weather 57 one day and 20 the next. Grumbling
Wonder what spring will be this year freezing or sweating.

When is the shower? I bet it will be lots of fun and beautiful.

As far as work everyone's being overly nice. It's inventory Monday and manager working his butt off straightening the store....Everyone suppose to make sure everything is in it's place I wanted to see how much some people who are perfect Rolling my eyes. are doing. I got off at 8 store closes at 10 there was candy on the cereal shelf, juice mixed with water, mixed can goods, you get the picture. I said nothing about shelves needed attention the other two girls who worked until 10 had been told by manager to check the store before closing and it was a really slow night, when I left the girl in charge made the remark she had already done everything in the first two hours she was there.

Fastforward I worked next morning when store opened they hadn't touched the food aisles....I found other things needed done had to go through all the candy because 4oz and 8oz pkgs of candy were mixed together Shrug! so when I left at noon food shelves still needed done. I don't work until Friday, so he better get his "girls" busy.
I can look busy and accomplish nothing too...they just think they invented it. Whistling

How is everything in Moonville?

Have a great day, stay safe and warm. Group hug

and she did, JJ! She did everything she cared to do. Whistling

Got snow over there? We have a couple inches here, and it's c-c-cold! I was getting spoiled.

DD's shower is going to be 2/23, at a local banquet place that's pretty nice. It's going to cost us around $500, but will be less trouble than renting a hall and making all the food. Probably cheaper, too. Baby Sprout's paternal grandma (Tammi) is having a shower also for her side and DD's work friends. Tammi worked there also so she knows a bunch of people. They are doing the hall-food thing. I panicked yesterday, I though DH threw out a bag of clothes I bought for the baby, by mistake. He does crap like that, rushing around, not paying attention.. I found it though.

One of the big things at WW is being 'mindful'. Applies to just about anything, but paying attention to what you're eating, how it tastes, etc.. instead of mindlessly shoving things in your mouth (like moi tends to do) and overeating. I've told him a couple of times he needs to be more mindful. Then he gets PO'd but I don't care. I'm sick of looking all over the place for stuff.

How's the moon doing?? Is stuff getting back to normal?

Have a great day!

Group hug

The weather is beautiful in Boca Raton, Florida. Unfortunately the people are beyond rude. Sometimes I am embarrassed to be the same species. I feel like an ex-patriot in a foreign country. I lived in Puerto Rico for a while before statehood for work. Same feeling. I dream of living in a neighborhood of friendly people who stop for a cup of coffee, lend or ask for a hand with life. Are there any places like that left in the United States? If so - and they are in a mild climate without earthquakes, fires or hurricanes - THAT is where I want to be!

Have the air conditioner on. Palm trees wave outside the window. Life is ...well...still alive! Health is improved over last year. I wasn't sure I would see 2019. Speaking of seeing, I have had vision issues since a accident years ago. I finally found a doctor who was able to make glasses that enable me to sit and work at the computer without strain, double vision or headaches. I have computer glasses and world glasses. I wish I found such a doctor years ago, but am beyond grateful to have found him now AND to be able to buy new glasses. Life has been that tough the past few years, but I am tougher than ever....and seeing more clearly literally and figuratively.

I have also connected with extended family for the first time on 20 years. I thought of them frequently, but couldn't risk any more disappointments or betrayals. I had been hesitant to do so before because threats of violence from a family member. I was living less than 100 miles from said family member. Now I am several gardening zones away and karma has said family member busy with his own survival.

This weekend is "full of things that have never been". Hope the new year brings more joy than stress and sadness for me this year. Hope everyone else moves forward in a positive way too.

This is Bugsy/Cutie Pie. He is fascinated with the computer. He likes to wake it up during the night. Hope he isn't looking at naughty kitty videos. I call him Bugsy because he is a bad boy with lots of charm. My friend adopted him the day she forced me to put my beloved Winston the pug down. I wanted to love him and hold him until god took him, but I didn't have a choice. I pray his soul forgives me for his last days.

Have to add Bugsy by the phone. Xfinity wifi is overpriced and inadequate during peak tv hours.

Wonder if feral cats can sense kindness. They seem to know where to go before we even start feeding them. Perhaps kind people are the only ones who notice suffering creatures..

I did that also! Binge watched The Assassination of Gianni Versace. Not the whole thing, but most of it. I figured the guy was winning all kinds of awards, he must be pretty good. And he is.

Sorry, I admit it, I'm a pop culture idiot. *Blush*

What crazy weather! It snows, it rains.. it snows, it rains... do you have the same thing going on over there JJ? So crazy.

I've been busy trying to get ready for DD's shower next Saturday. More mentally busy, actually. I've spent a lot of time online looking at shower games. Really? No one cares what games we play, don't know why I'm spending so much time on stuff like that.
