Hi chelle!! I look forward to seeing some pictures of the fall blooms! I didn't touch the elderberry this year either.... I won't say I never do though. lol

I would think the american beautyberry would grow for you, even though it may not be native to your area. It is very hardy here, some think too hardy; it's deciduous and tolerates freezing well from what I can see. I would be very happy to send you a plant or two or some seeds if you would like, to see if they will make it. Smiling
