The creeping plant is a type of henbit, I'm pretty sure. I mostly leave it alone because it gets a flower on it that the bees love, and it's an easily pulled ground cover. I just yank it out from around the bases of my other plants as necessary.
It is wandering out into the grassy areas of the yard though......guess I'll have to get rid of the grass and make the whole yard flower beds! Rolling on the floor laughing
