The last time we were in the Santa Cruz area we had a *great* breakfast at the Davenport Roadhouse..I'd recommend it and certainly love to go back.

Looks interesting. There are so many great places to eat around Santa Cruz, especially in Capitola. Even the hamburgers in Capitola are gourmet treats.

Shadowbrook is one of my all-time favorites. In fact, that's the main one I was thinking of when I mentioned Capitola. I love that place.

I agree Me too, and I really want to go back sometime this season when their gardens are all in bloom. DH has never been Big Grin he is in for a treat! Hilarious!

I've never been there in the daytime, so I've never seen the gardens. I did see Martin Sheen there, though.

Davenport Roadhouse was great! Near the 'red, white and blue' painted mailbox which is a marker, I am told, for the nude beach down below. More trivia you did not need.

Years back we stayed in Santa Cruz and used the yellow pages to find a place for dinner. Lazy, we stopped in the A's and found this wonderful Northern Italian place in a converted small home, Believe the name was Anna something.
