I think he didn't read the part about it being a once-bloomer and didn't want to admit he'd made a mistake, so he got all huffy and tried to rationalize his suggestion. It reminded me of when my cats fall off the couch, look around to see if anyone noticed, and start washing themselves briskly, as if they fell on purpose to get in the right position for a bath.
Why are some people being so contentious lately? Some loony guy joined my Unrepentant Smokers cubit today and proceeded to repent -- loudly and at length, bemoaning his addiction to tobacco and almost blaming the rest of us for destroying the youth of America by saying we enjoy smoking in a public forum. Such a troll!
Yes, it must not agree with some people. I find it wonderful. It's perfect weather for weeding and cleaning up. So much nicer than it's going to be a month from now, when the relentless rains come.
Those huge spiders (golden orb) are still around, but they'll be gone soon. The bees and wasps are disappearing and there are no mosquitoes or flies at all. Just a lovely time of year.
I have a new family of raccoons visiting every night. Five of them this time -- looks like a mother, father, and three teenagers. Adorable creatures! They turn the sunporch upside down to get every last bit of remaining cat food. Just like a vacuum cleaner.
I think we got one here lately at my Mom's, drinking water out of the kitty bowl and making a mess. Squirrels are still making a nuisance of themselves, digging holes in many of my potted iris, uprooting many of them despite the rocks I have added to the soil surface. I have to make the rounds everyday to reset things.
The troll just sent me a c-mail to say he's upset about me criticizing him on a personal level in a cubit other than the smokers cubit. So I guess he's a troll and a stalker. I'm glad he's on a different continent. Positively creepy!
He sent a second c-mail to demand that I "justify" my actions. He also said I obviously don't know how public the Internet is, implying -- much to my amusement -- that I didn't want him to know that I think his troll-like behavior is troll-like.
I'm ignoring him. I think that's the best response to trolls and stalkers, isn't it?
