Are Pill bugs are problem in the garden. Last year I grew all my veggies in straw bales. This year I am using pots and thought I would put the pots where the bales were, as I can train the tomatoes and beans up the fencing I put up there last year for that purpose. When I started raking the used up straw, the top still looks tried out, but a couple inches down it was all loamy and I thought "great, this will be good compost". Then I saw them. There are tons of sow bugs. Any suggestions on what to do with them? Spray the bales as I open them (15 of them)? They were all in the moist inside/bottom parts of the bales. Needless to say, I did NOT put any pots anywhere near. Creepy
