Doris & anyone else that's been thru terrible storms lately, many prayers sent your way... Everyone stay safe!
Cheryl, hope your Birthday was a good one!
My 19 yr.old son, Joshua, who was home for 2 wks. on Leave from the Navy, left for Lemore,CA last weekend; he & some other sailors were flown to their new home the next day--- an aircraft carrier, somewhere out in the ocean! Think he's supposed to be gone 6-7 months, but with the military, you can never outguess them, I'm learning .... I also hear: 'Hurry, Hurry, Hurry up... and Wait!' Joshua can't use his cellphone or the internet while on the ship, but he can send & receive email, so at least there's some communication.
Hope y'all have a good, non-stormy day, wherever you are! The Lord's angels are out in force today, keeping very busy.
Thanks, Mekos! I'll give him your msg. in an email today... hoping he isn't getting too seasick, since this is his first deploy out at sea... ~~~~~~---~~~~~~~~
Hope you and all of Charley's friends have a wonderful day today--- and Charley, stop that pawing on the ground!--- hope that doesn't mean a storm's brewing nearby... probably just wants more oats--- he's tired of chewin' hay, Charleen!

Expecting to be dry until Saturday. Keep loosing internet connection in the storm. Neighbors out with chainsaws today cutting down broken trees. No damage at my house so far. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
We got a rain awhile ago, storm watch til 11:00.. We sure are blessed by that rain. My friend has a limb snap in one of her trees that has already been thru a tornado. Poor dear. Started raining when we took her some trees she's been wanting.
This is the face book page of my oldest son Joe Grunow. He drove down to Joplin with a few friends from his church from Amarillo, Texas with trucks full of food to feed the hungry. Everyone needs monetary donations, if anyone can help, please click his name, and ask him how to help! Thanks.

Update on Doris. I asked her how Bandit did during the storm. She said:
"I was more worried about him than I was myself, he was so scared when the ice was hitting the house he kept throwing up, he has never been scared before, always sat and looked out the window, must admit I was worried, never heard such noise, it sounded like the whole house was coming down........I have Tarps on my roof but last night the rain was so hard it managed to get under anyway, I have no idea how long it will be before roofer can do the job, there are so many that we are in line. I am better off than some, the town is a real shambles, we actually had 2 tornadoes touch down.
You take care, tell them all I said Hi, but may not be on today, gotta get this water taken care of."
I hope she doesn't mind me using a partial quote of her message, but I can't imagine she would and I know you will all send more prayers for her. Terrible thing for her to have to deal with.
