I am the principal of the primary school in my county. We have a 2 story building with more than 20 rooms including classrooms, hallways, washrooms, playrooms, and office rooms. We have more than 300 kids in the schools from our county. It’s tough enough to manage all the kids and staff, upon that I have to take care of the maintenance of the infrastructure too. You know how kids are, it’s very difficult to manage them. On top of that maintaining the cleanliness around the premises is a very difficult task at hand. The cafeteria is usually a mess after the break, we can’t really blame the kids, after all, most of them are less than 10 years old. There used to be a group of maids from the locality who looked upon the task of cleaning, now most of them are gone. My faculty is asking me to hand over the job to some janitors. Instead of finding one myself maybe I should look for some janitorial services company in Toronto(https:/www.rbcclean.com/services/janitorial-services-and-office-cleaning/). How do they charge us? Is it based on the amount of work they do or on the sq ft of the area they clean or is it something else? Do we need to buy all the equipment for them? Please do give your insights on this. Thank you.
