I'll try to remember to add the featured dahlias here. This week it's Raz Ma Taz M FD DB R/Y. 3.5' tall with tons of small 3" max bright red edged yellow blooms. Very cheerful little bloom. Stems are average, but ample to hold up the small flowers.

Another photo of it. I wish I had a shot of the entire plant. It's one that I get so many flowers off, even with disbudding, that I just waste some of them while cutting.
WHAT?!? Waste? I can't imagine! I like the forum. I am not overzealous of the small blooms*, but this one, I like! It's like a little fireball. Looks like someone handpainted the petals their yellow middles...The side shot reminds me a little of my slow-growing muse, Salsa Picante.
*Not sure what I have against the small ones. It's not like I really like the dinnerplates, either. I just like the A-BB. I'm weird.

You are not weird or alone. A lot of people like the big ones because they're so awesomely impressive. How could they not be? Two lbs of flower petals on a stem is always impressive, but I appreciate the perfection of the tiny pretties as well. ( I better, because I was just out disbudding and have about 6 each of two pompons LOL!)
