Relax. It's only a small setback.
Nice mid-size white, 6-8 inches, with palest lavender cast to tips. Grows on a 3-3.5 foot plant. Great stems.

I like the look of it, it's similar to one I was wanting this year at Swan Island Iceberg especially the light lavender center.

I like any white with purple accent, but I keep passing on this one for AAs which seem in abundance lately. Can someone super-size it? :)

Give someone time and they'll come up with a super-size version. I like Iceberg's looks too just from online looking. Overall, the white with lavender are among my favorites in any shape, or size.

Tod, how'd you come out with any winds/rain that may have arrived with Earl?

Know what's hilarious or just maybe oddly coincidental? I got my member package from the American Dahlia Society and they gave me a postcard and the bloom on it was Magic Moment.

It's a great flower. I just saw a photo of killer seedling not in public hands yet. Not sure of size- medium at least: white, striking purple edging. An 'ooher-aaher' for sure.

Did you get the classification book with your ADS package? I still haven't sent in my form yet....

Yeah, although I technically won't be a member until 2011 they were still nice enough to send me some books.
