It was a great little grower, more like 4 ft tall here, (but in less sun than it deserved.) Good enough stems to cut and plentiful flowers. Thanks to Eric for the pompon suggestion. I grow about 5 or 6 different poms and think they're a nice contrast to the big or average sized blooms. So much petal-power crammed into a small space always amazes me. |

Every year I think I'm going to get a floral foam globe and fill it with little pompons to form a big ball made of small balls. And every year slips by without getting around to it- this year being no exception, but I might still have a shot at it. I think I have 8 Pride of Place plants! If we get the expected few days of warmth coming up, it might happen. |
