I've heard that Irish Blackhart is difficult to keep. I don't dig until mid-March so I'm on pins and needles waiting to see what treasures are buried in the yard. I never know if I should re-order favorites or just trust that they will survive. My retention rate is much much higher without digging. Counting down the days until March 15. Last year we had so much rain in March that lifting didn't start until mid April. We're in the mid 60° this week. Very nice outside. |
