It is a 50mm film lens from the 1990s. Since it is a full frame lens it is about the equivalent of a 75mm lens on my APS-C camera. My other 50mm prime lens works very well and is a 1.7. This one is a 2.8 but is a 1:1 macro and closest focus is 7.5 inches. It is supposed to be even sharper than my 1.7 prime lens. And it is auto focus too. We like to place a sign on our porch that says: We are in the garden. Really, we are always in the garden. |
