| HH Bewitched at Old House Dahlias: he lost most plants in 2013 to the big freeze and those would have been sold for planting in 2014 when I needed it. He kept all for himself and has enough to sell this year. I will be getting some from him too. I need to get from several sources as the colors vary and Margaret wants a particular color for Bewitched. I like the darker one but she likes a lighter version. Old House also sells the black red solid version of Bewitched that he has re-named. Margaret used those black red sport flowers for her arrangements before HH Black Beauty was bred. It was featured in her best in show design at the ADS National show in Seattle many years ago. We like to place a sign on our porch that says: We are in the garden. Really, we are always in the garden. |
