Hello there, before I send off an order for just some more Dahlias, I would like to hear your opinions about them I was looking for following: good cutflowers (just for my own fun) so, probably tall plants not fussy, vigorous medium to good tuber maker (my Taratahi Ruby would be "medium", having 3-5 fingers that are worth storing in fall) I noticed that some Swan Island cultivars are recommended as cut flowers, even though the plants are described as 3feet only. So I tried to avoid those and meant to pick plants that are at least 4 or better 4 1/2. Flower size: I rather prefer BB or even M, but I noticed that my flowers tend to be smallish anyway, compared to catalogue description, I guess, there is still potential regarding feeding and watering... Lynett Chilson`s Pride are those following look-alikes? they seemed very similar in the pics: Sheer Heaven Peaches and Dreams October Sky Summer`s End ------- Not too shabby Leila Savanna Rose Bahama Mama Koppertone Molly Ann thanks for any information, bye, Lin |
