I have found a new kind of wonderful as regards red: 'Kea Sally', a New Zealand cultivar bred by K. Sherlock, and introduced in 2010. Here is is a large decorative, so it would be an A size in the US, I believe. My photos are licensed CC BY (Attribution). More Dahlia photos here.
