Petrie has a very real story to tell about going from rags to riches. We don’t know how he spent his first 3 years of life, but we do know what his life is like now. This is his story.

Thank you very much for sharing Petrie's story with us. A truly inspiring story about we can do if we set our minds to it, for both you and Petrie.

That is one of the things we talk to the children about, perseverance. Where there is a will, there is a way. What is really wonderful, some of the children got to watch Petrie grow in his abilities over a two year period. They cheered and supported him in every new thing he attained. It was amazing how it motivated the children to attain their dreams. The first time I took him to school I was asked to introduce him to an advanced science class (middle school age), this was Petrie's introduction to interacting with children. After I told the class a little of Petrie's story I opened for questions. There was a student sitting up front that had a look of revulsion on his face throughout the short story. His was one of the first hands to go up. He asked me why Petrie was even alive, why he wasn't killed when he was born. As I looked from him to Petrie, the answer came to me. This is what I told him, 'We don't know why he wasn't euthanized at birth, we don't know that part of the story. I do know that all life is precious in God's eyes, and we all have a purpose in life. It is up to us to fulfill that purpose. I believe Petrie is here today to teach us about love, understanding, perseverance and how our attitude affects our lives. He is fulfilling his purpose on earth. What about all of you in the class today, are you fulfilling your purpose in life?

What a wonderful way to think quick and take advantage of the opportunity presented to you in a positive way. I hope you both keep up the good work for a very long time. I would say your purpose, and that of many of your dogs, is being fulfilled very well.

Isn't it funny, I don't even see that I have given him a chance at a better life; he has added so much to our lives and others he has met. You would have to meet him in person to understand. Lovey dubby Thumbs up
Come for a visit. Would love to have you here, both of you. Thumbs up

What an amazing little dog! I'm so glad you found each other! I'll bet he would be a treasured visitor to war veteran amputees.

Renee he has visited a number of adult amputees, both civilian and military. Most in the rehab hospital. Also brain damage car accident victims. Here he is at the Saturday Farmers Market making a new friend. This was before he got his wheels. This lady was so excited about meeting Petrie, she had seen him in the newspapers and on a Portland TV station. She is paralyzed from the waist down.

That's great! Does he still go for rides in his stroller sometimes?

It has been almost two years since he has been in his stroller. I use it when he is in our local parade because the asphalt is to hot for his little feet to use his wheels or walk. Last year I was gone for most of the summer, so we missed the parade. We have a group named Paws For Love (all certified therapy dogs), we go in a group. He uses his wheels or walks when we make other visits or appearances.

Thanks for the information!!!
I know for sure that with so many scam writing companies currently operational in the industry it may become too confusing for inexperienced customers to decide which agency to place their trust in. There is, however, only one pro company which is trusted by hundreds around the planet - it's the coolest www.summarizing.biz agency I have ever found.
