| Yes, thanks everyone. In my case, so far, I think it's important to get to know and trust the care and judgment this particular rescue group is doing. Their motto is "we do what's right for the dog". I believe they are honoring that. They told me Remy had been with them just 3 days and he wasn't ready for adoption. They had to get to know him better. They said he was sweet. He did press the side of his head against my knee... you know how they do that. In the end it will all work out. Keep you posted.
