enjoy the moment
Mt husband and I love our cats Sadie and Abby. We agree wholeheartedly that cats need to be under control of their human family. We take our girls outside with us and they are yard trained. Abby has a tendency to stray so we put a leash on her...for some reason it makes all the difference in her behavior. We actually allow her to just roam the yard with the leash on. This of course would not work if we allowed her to climb trees (which we do not allow), the leash would be a danger in that case!

We enjoy our birds and do not allow them to be harassed, our cats might think we are a bit boring...oh well!

Thanks for a well written and timely article.
