| Bloom Energy and in particular it's "Bloom Box" is one of the most talked about companies that may be nearing a commercial, cost effective solution to power other than fossil fuels. | Hi Stormy, I doubt they have a product for home use available. See this article written after they were featured on60 Minutes. Still a little more work to do. Ofter the main thing is to get the price down to an affordable level. I know that in the last 2 weeks they've added about 1,000 (mostly manufacturing) jobs. So progress! | That is very interesting, but it is a long way off till home use. Lots of other technologies may come along in the 5 to 10 year time frame they are projecting. |

| Hopefully other clean technologies will come along! The total solution to weaning off of crude will be very diverse. All of what we have today started with just a flicker of an idea a long time ago. It's a process, expensive and takes tenacity to develop a product and bring it to a viable commercial status.
