So, Friday my boss took me out to lunch, and also let me test drive his brand new Nissan Leaf. It's an all electric car. I was quite impressed with every aspect of it. AC worked perfectly. Had a lot of get up and go and spunk, even in the energy efficient mode. Very fun car to drive!

You lucky! Alan! Looks like it seats 4 with small area for cargo. I will read up on this but I assume you (can) charge it in your garage.... in the meantime we have more and more charging stations popping up in Phoenix Metro... (and other parts of the the country)

You know I'm tall. There was as much leg room in the back seats as there was in the front seats. I was quite impressed with that. It had more room in the back seats than my PT Cruiser. Gasp! But the storage in the back cargo area was not quite as much as my PT Cruiser, and God only knows I love hauling things...so -- you give -- you take. According to Phong the company even came and set him up a place to charge his car for no additional charge, but it does come with a regular AC/DC adaptor too, for plugging into a regular outlet. He gets $7500 back from Uncle Sam too, so that helps a lot with the price of the car.

Wow. A $7500 tax credit? Definitely alleviates the cost of the car. I'm not due to replace my '03 Acura TL 3.2 Type S (LOVE THIS CAR) but when I am .... green will be under consideration. Also, something a little bigger for the hauling you mentioned. (if possible)

I guess they are behind on getting orders out. It was only the 2nd one to be delivered to Arizona.
