Just wondering what you guys think. I read the yuricareport.com article re Bush 43 filling the SPR up to capacity. I think the president is tasked with keeping it full or at least work at keeping it full. The article doesn't mention the invasion of Iraq. I think I once read that the Bush administration believed oil supplies/imporating would be threatened by the war/action so early on in the war/invasion they began to fill the reserve. I think it took a long time and usually takes a long time to fill the reserves. Depending how many barrels are needed to bring it to capacity it can take years to fill. I know the article mention at date 9/11/2001 but it doesn't give the significance of the date.
