Thanks for the explanation. I'm a little skeptical of the numbers at But I think it is almost certainly true that IAEA did not properly take into consideration a lot of the longer term effects in their estimate of 4000 fatalities. I wish there could be consensus numbers that did not differ my more than two orders of magnitude. A meaningful consensus would help us toward better energy policy.
