Pepsi is my down fall as well, It is the one thing that creates an issue for me. When I am doing well I limit it and count the WW points as I drink it. When I am not doing well I pretty much live on the stuff. I very much like the Skinny Cow ice cream bars, They taste good and you get a measured portion not a guesstimate of how big your scoop is.

Yay Susan Thumbs up

I have a goofy schedule with work right now and meal time is all messed up. I work 4 or 5 hr shifts that always cover a 'meal time' and supposed to only take fifteen minute breaks. I'm trying to think of good healthy filling , not messy, snacks/ portable food. One job I am in my own cubicle so I 'can' snack but not messy for the keyboard. I guess many a working gal has this issue.
Cheese and crackers.
Sandwich / wrap (half on break, half on the drive home)
PB crackers.
Yogurt w nuts and granola/ rolled grain cereal

OTOH, my morning shift is incentive to eat some thing 'good' for breakfast.

Still not moving forward. Usually Summer with the nicer weather and fresh fruit gets you moving but not this year.

Holly, you may have hit a plateau and need to restart your journey. Try eating one meal that is not diet friendly then go back on your healthy choice meals the next day...for me that usually started things loosing again. Continue to drink plenty of water laced with some lemon juice,,particularily if your water has an unpleasant taste even ice cold...this usually worked for me.

Sally - I find you can get healthy meals from weight watchers. I know that you're trying to gain weight, but I also know that it's recommended to eat 5-6 "meals" per day, not overload at any one. For me, even an apple is a "meal" because I'm having something to eat. You'll just have to figure out what you can have time to eat, that isn't junk food.
I know it's difficult, but we're "here" for you. Lovey dubby Group hug

One thing I discovered the other day is that working women who buy their lunch, or eat at restaurants are more likely to gain weight. Not to mention the amount of salt in these meals. You eat better if you "brown bag" according to a study done by the Canadian gov't. Our country is really trying to look after youth obesity. Apparently, too, kids need to have 60 minutes of activity/exercise each and every day. Most parents are happy if their kids have one sports activity per week. Ears perked up!

Due to a new work schedule I have only gone once to class this week Thumbs down I can still fit in twice if I really focus but we've been busy with back to school.
I of course COULD do some of the same workout at home, even without weight.

How are you? Any more biking?

We went camping, and took my bike. I tried, and fell off. I didn't bruise, but feeling a little nervous about biking now...... BUT I am determined, and now that I'm off work, I can take time to try again, by myself and not with my DH Rolling my eyes.

a tour of your gardens? How neat is that?!?! Big Grin Ears perked up! Would love to see pics of your garden - it must be spectacular! Ears perked up!

I'm just clearing out old paperwork from our house. Next weekend Bob will be adding an overhang from our porch over the deck - about as long as you can comfortably fit a BBQ and someone standing in front. Then he'll tear down the wall under it and replace it. Right now it's separating from the ceiling, and we have water damage (mold & mildew) due to the property shifting. The City owns the property and we own the home. They won't take responsibility for the shift, so we have to figure out what to do re: fixing/rebuilding. Sticking tongue out

Sounds like a huge mess. Good Luck with that. We mostly built our home. We had a contractor come in about 25 yrs ago to put on the main addition. He did part of it and we did part. The older part of the house was started by my previous husband but never finished. When Ric came more than 30 yrs ago, he started fixing and doing but there was always other projects and activities. So the house was pretty much always on the back burner. After all these years it still isn't completely finished. Hilarious!
The real problem has always been priority. Let's see "Do you want a horse you can jump or kitchen cabinets" I'll take the horse. Thumbs up
It is a small tour about 35 people. Our Hobby GreenHouse Assoc. is doing a tour of 4 members gardens and ours is one of the Gardens. Right now I am trying to make it all look good. Many of the flowers are finished blooming, there is a good bit of damage from slugs and other insects and I lost all the impatiens that gave color to the shade garden. On the other hand there are many areas that really look good. I am offering refreshments "Peach Sangria" maybe they will have a few and not notice the rough spots. Big Grin
I'll post a link with some pictures of my gardens later. Just came in for a short break a drink (Bad) Soda but (Good) fresh pineapple instead of chips or pretzels.

ooooh love the trumpet vine arbor and love any "secret garden" spot. Guess I'm just a fan of "secret and cozy" Big Grin
That would be why I like older homes with secret cubby holes, etc. Big Grin
Maybe that's because I'm 5' 1/2 tall....... Now, to get myself small enough width-wise to fit in cubbies Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Whistling

It's a super garden! And good job with the article Thumbs up

Dang- We went to the park yesterday and spent a good time walking along and in the shallow river. Nice outing with the dog. Puttered about the yard the rest of the day. But today I wake up with one hip about killing me. What the heck? Never had this before. I guess I got something inflamed overnight Confused

I had a bit of a pinched nerve last night just before I went to bed. Dunno why that was, but I put on my mattress heater, and laid on my back. Sure helped.... Do you have an electric heating pad?

Well, I went shopping yesterday, and when I was in the store my sugar level must have dropped. It was a very very stressful day yesterday (got some financial news that wasn't good, but I will deal with it) so I think that was the cause. It was so severe, I grabbed 3 chocolate bars and ate them before I could get to the checkout. I told the fellow at checkout and he took one look and asked if I was going to be ok.
I Am Not Diabetic. I've been checked. I just know that with a lot of stress and/or exercise that I need to eat something, regularly. Chocolate bars are quick, but anything will do. Today I had that feeling again, so ate my lunch early.
It's kinda like the commercial where the friend says "you're not yourself when you're hungry". I can SO relate.

Part of it, I think, is everytime I cut something Bad out of my diet my body immediately starts to have withdrawals, and this happens. I cut out salted pretzels Big Grin It's good for me to cut that out, but my body Just Doesn't Like It. I haven't had them for years, and recently starting eating them Big Time. Not good.
Well, I'm back on track, so that's good!!

Thank you all for being here for me - Really, Really, Really appreciate it!!! Thumbs up Lovey dubby
