|I eat pumpernickel bread - very low in calories. We never, ever, eat white bread.
You can pretty much figure (we smart humans, doncha know...) what's good for us to eat. If it bloats you, it's likely not good. If you're "starving" after you eat, they're probably "empty calories" and not good for you.
Apples, btw, are the best fruit for helping you lose weight. Something in their chemistry helps.
I always figure "Everything in moderation" and you're fine. "They" say you should have 5-6 small meals per day. Even an apple is a "meal" because it's a Snack Meal.
