|Lee Ann - I'm with you, after work I just want to come home. That's why, on the days when I go to the gym, I go before work. Don't have breakfast first though........ not good to exercise after eating. I usually bring an Oatmeal pack with me to work - add hot water and you're set! I get to the gym at 6am, shower and leave at 7pm. I get to work at 7:30 (start at 8am, so have lots of time for breakfast). Oh, and I like to have a piece of fruit - apple usually. That, and coffee
It also helps to get the brain energized too. I find I do my best work after a good workout and a shower..........
Also, the gym is on the way to work, so I get up at 5:15 instead of 6:00, put on my workout gear, and put my work clothes in the bag (I lay 'em out the night before - don't want them wrinkled from sitting in a bag all evening). Then I hang 'em up at the gym and after I shower, I have my clean clothes. Oh, did I forget to mention I Get Energized From The Workout!!!
When I'm going as I should and want to, I go 3x a week - Mon Wed & Friday. Good to start a week off with getting energized.
