Can't do much about the shoulder, but "they" say 5 lbs on the frame is 50 lbs on the knee, and having just lost 16 lbs, I believe it!! My knee is ever-so-much-better for having lost the weight. I can walk again (stiff, quick walk) and really had trouble with an ambling walk before. Standing for any length of time? Forget it!
But just this 1 month of losing weight, and I'm so much better that I can hardly believe it!! Diet and walking (climbing stairs too!) really is what did it. I know it strengthened my left knee a bit, but really it was the weight loss.......
