i do 'get' that!
I suppose different clubs may have different demographics, but not eveyrone has multiple clubs to choose from. We're considering shopping for a new gym to save some $ but I don't know if the others near me have similar mixes of people.

I tried Zumba Its an aerobic, dance type class. It sounds fun. But it uses more dance moves, like hip motion and footwork, that I'm not familiar with. The instructor bounces like she has spring in her feet!!! It moved pretty fast. With not being familiar with the moves, and the speed of the music, I felt very awkward and clunsy. I went 2 x and don't plan to go back. But thats just me. I hear you can get special shoes, (totaly optional) that are a bit slipperier, to help with the footwork. After paying club fees, I don't want to shell out for special shoes.
