Cream gravy and biscuits is a biggie in this area and throughout the south. A friend was visiting from New York a couple of months ago, and was all excited about stopping at eateries that served gravy and biscuits.

Pulled Cream Candy seems to be a Kentucky thing, and is soooo good! My sister who lives in Louisiana always makes a point to buy some to take home when they're in visiting. There is a candy factory in my home town, Mount Sterling, that has been there since 1921, they're well known for their cream candy.
