|Thanks, I'm going to try this, but don't have enough PB at the moment, which is weird for us! We always have an extra jar in the pantry, but I made so much fudge and such over Christmas, I just haven't stocked back up!
My mom made a chocolate fudge recipe when I was about 14, poured it out into a pan, it never did set up. The next morning, she tried to cut it, but it was more like caramel, big sticky threads... it was the most wonderful stuff I ever tasted! But while we were at school, she recooked it and it finally set, but I don't think it was as good as when she messed it up originally
Now Gma could make a really good chocolate fudge (w/no MC), like I said, she beat the dickens out of it, I just couldn't reproduce it, always too grainy or hard. Like the old fashioned popcorn balls.....you have to know what you're doin'.
Now I have fudge on the brain.....
