Hey, Janice. You are only about an hour from me. I have a very good friend in Winston and she is getting her garden started. She's also a court reporter in Superior Court in Forsyth County, as I am the reporter in Cabarrus County.

Hope you enjoy this forum. Please feel free to contribute!

This tree sustained some damage last year and I fear its days are numbered. I'm waiting to see what it does this spring.

Beautiful, Bonnie. I am so excited anticipating beautiful blooms from all the irises you gave me last May at the SARU. They're all sprouting and looking healthy, so I should see some lovely blossoms. I'll post pics, of course!

right now is the best time to hit them with a wee bit of 10-10-10, or a wee bit more of 5-10-10, Angie.

they don't like a lot of fertilizer, but a wee bit helps them get a better bloom going. Did you fertilize them well last fall?

Also about now, if you had leaf spot last year, you can spray the same stuff that's used for blackspot on roses.
